Senior Account Executive, Strategic Accounts

The Senior Account Executive, Strategic Accounts is responsible for sourcing and generating new business from large enterprise clients, in particular large Advertising Agencies and “Tier 1” Merchants. Sourcing business from both US and International based companies; the Senior Account Executive’s key role is to acquire clients that will generate long term revenue growth for Direct Response Technologies. The ideal candidate will stay “ahead of the game” when it comes to recognizing the most recent developments in the fast paced, ever changing Online Marketing Industry.
Key Qualifications:
- 5-6+ years of inside or outside sales
- Technical or web based application sales is highly recommended
- Experience selling to large enterprise clients, Ad Agencies experience a plus
- Experience selling into International based companies
- Cold Calling on C-Level Executives
- Technical and Internet experience is a must
- Applicants must be comfortable providing phone-based (via web meeting services) and face-to-face software demonstrations
Knowledge/Skills
- Solid understanding of Online Marketing and Internet technologies
- Creativity in prospecting for US based and International leads
- Ability to track all sales activities (prospecting, calls, appointments, proposals) though Salesforce.com
- Strong working knowledge of personal computers, e–mail and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and familiarity with web meeting software (Webex) is a plus
- Establish and further proactive customer service techniques/processes
Other
Ability and willingness to spend upwards of 30 days per quarter traveling and participating in trade shows and industry events
